How To Play The Let It Ride Poker

/2008-07-21/

I know about Let It Ride Poker from a relative of mine. Actually my cousin seems to be addicted to it and this is why I'm quite worried about him. Despite the fact that he has made quite some money on his Let It Ride, I still have a bad feeling about it. Every gambler should know that luck is only a matter of time. You cannot be lucky all the time. Even though most gamblers realize it; they still tend to forget it sometimes. You cannot count on endless luck while playing poker unless you have the skills and the capital to make sure you'll be fine in the end.

However, when the game ends, there are always people who get broken and lose everything they have. Nowadays poker is available online and it's easy to gamble. My cousin plays Let It Ride all the time, simply clicking away. I should admit that I like playing free online poker, though I stay away from Let It Ride or any other serious competitions. The online poker tournament works easy. Let It Ride, Texas Hold 'Em and many other games have free contests, which you can enter without paying anything but still have the chance to win a few hundreds dollars.

I really enjoy this part but there are some people who get more serious about it after playing a couple of free contests. The latter often end up paying money to play. When my cousin started playing Let It Ride he won a free contest and since then he has been playing with lots of money of his own. He gives ten dollars a hand minimum which is quite a lot. Let It Ride is always played against the casino not other players, so the chance of losing is higher. That's why I find it hard to get how my cousin makes a profit of this poker; I guess he should be really good at it after all.

Another one of his favourite poker games is Anaconda but it cannot be played online. Anaconda is a bit of a crazy kind of poker. You are dealt seven cards; you discard two to the left and three to the right and then try to make the best hand of five cards. What's so weird about that game is that the highest and the lowest hand split the pot. Consequently, what really matters is to know the people you are playing with - are they waiting for the highest or the lowest.
