Players earn Tequila Shots (Tila Poker points) in both ring games and tournaments where the hand is raked.
Ring Games

For every dollar raked from the pot, a player who is dealt cards for that hand will receive two (2) shots.

Tournaments

At tournaments, 20 Shots are awarded for every dollar a player pays in fees.

Additional Conditions and Limitations

* Players with VIP Levels 2 and 3 earn Shots faster than stated above. Players cannot earn Shots in Play Money games.
* Bonuses are released automatically to players in increments $10 according to the number of Shots a player has earned: 500 Earned Shots = $10 Bonus.
* Players can check the “My Account” page at the Tila Poker Lobby to see their pending Bonus Balance and their Tequila Shots Balance.
* Tequila Shots can be exchanged for cash only during specific cashing out periods. The rate of exchange is 10,000 Shots = $10.
* The cashing out option is included on the Shots page in the “My Account” section of the Cashier. Tequila Shots can also be used to buy-in to some tournaments. Details of buy-in tournaments are posted in the Scheduled Tournament section of the poker software.
* Players qualifying for the First Deposit Bonus have three months to accumulate the necessary Shots that will entitle them to receive the bonus.
